From the Dean’s Desk
In order to address the enormous livelihood challenge faced by the nation today, professionals in the field of livelihood promotion have felt the need for a robust knowledge base. BASIX, a premier livelihood promotion institution, initiated The Livelihood School to address this task of building a knowledge base about what promotes and hinders livelihoods. The Livelihood School is ordained not to dwell on theoretical constructs but to focus on practice: that is, work on questions that arise from predicaments of livelihood practitioners.
