Vision

The Livelihood School is set up to impact millions of livelihoods of the poor of Bharat, through building the capacities of the livelihood practitioners, by building and disseminating knowledge that helps practice. Thus, the purpose of The Livelihood School is to:

• Build knowledge about the processes, methods and principles of promotion of livelihood of the disadvantaged sections of the society, especially of the poor and women in a sustainable, socially and economically equitable manner, and

• Disseminate the knowledge on livelihoods and livelihood promotion issues to a large number of practitioners, whose works directly affect large number of livelihoods, particularly those of the poor.
